The water temperature should be approximately 24°C (75°F). For a salinity of 33 ppt (1.025 SG), dissolve approximately 390 g (13.75 oz) in 10 L (2.7 US gal) of water. Stir the solution vigorously for approximately 15 minutes. Once the salt is completely dissolved and the solution is clear, the saline water is ready for use. Store the salt in a dry, dark place. Once dissolved, use the salt within 5 days. Evaporation can change the water parameters, so store freshly mixed salt water in a sealed container if not using it immediately. You should recheck the salinity of your salt water before use if storing it for a couple of days. This product is for aquarium use only. Not suitable for human consumption. Keep out of reach of children.
