AF Reef Salt

Fully synthetic sea salt created specifically for coral farming. The salt's composition was selected to create the best conditions for marine animals. Its micro and macro elements fully meet the needs of corals, providing them with the nutrients necessary for proper development and coloration. When setting up new marine aquariums for your first animals, we recommend not adding salt until the tank has matured.

Preparation: Dissolve the salt in previously prepared demineralized water. The water temperature should be approximately 24°C (75°F). For a salinity of 33 ppt (1.025 SG), dissolve approximately 390 g (13.75 oz) in 10 L (2.7 US gal) of water. Stir the solution vigorously for approximately 15 minutes. Once the salt is completely dissolved and the solution is clear, the saline water is ready for use. Store the salt in a dry, dark place. Once dissolved, use the salt within 5 days. Evaporation can change the water parameters, so store freshly mixed salt water in a sealed container if not using it immediately. You should recheck the salinity of your salt water before use if storing it for a couple of days. This product is for aquarium use only. Not suitable for human consumption.
