An ideal substrate for turtles and many tropical reptile species. Natural Bark is made from pine bark, 100% natural and biodegradable, and contains no dyes or chemical additives. It recreates a natural and decorative habitat. In terrariums, it regulates humidity and ensures a clean, healthy environment for the animals. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Spread a 1-2 cm layer of Natural Bark on the bottom of the terrarium or cage. Periodically remove any damp areas and replenish in sufficient quantity to restore the substrate to its original condition. Replace the substrate completely if it becomes too dirty or damp. The used material can be disposed of as organic waste along with wood and garden waste, or used as fertilizer as this substrate is 100% biodegradable.
