Includes a probiotic we call Hikari-Germ™: this unique, live, viable, beneficial microorganism, combined with the carefully selected blend of ingredients, provides an extremely palatable, highly nutritional offering.
Scientifically formulated for carnivorous marine fish: Carefully selected marine proteins readily attract most carnivorous and omnivorous marine fish. The abundant, natural nutrients packed into each pellet provide "just off the reef" color, predictable growth rates, and a voluminous shape, even for wild-caught specimens that tend to be difficult to maintain.
A unique texture that marine fish crave: Our proprietary processing allows us to create a rapidly hydrating and easy-to-swallow pellet, ideal for feeding fish at all levels of the aquarium due to its slow-sinking characteristics.
DIET
Do not feed more than your pet will consume within one minute up to three times a day. Care should be taken to avoid overfeeding, and no food should be left after feeding. Saki-Hikari® Marine Carnivore is most effective when used continuously as a daily diet. Hikari-Germ™ is a transient bacterium that does not linger in the intestines and is rapidly eliminated once feeding is stopped. Intermittent use or mixing with other foods will prevent Hikari-Germ™ from achieving its full, desired effect.
