PRODUCT INFORMATION:
The natural substrate made from volcanic lava is perfect for any freshwater aquarium. To provide optimal conditions for plant growth, AF Lava Soil has been enriched with valuable minerals. This natural substrate gradually releases minerals into the water and, due to its high porosity, supports the multiplication of beneficial microorganisms. The unique structure of AF Lava Soil facilitates the rooting of aquatic plants and prevents the formation of anaerobic zones where bacteria that can produce toxic hydrogen sulfide can develop. It ensures improved water circulation in the tank's substrate, which facilitates the balanced distribution of nutrients and improves their absorption by plants. The substrate is rinsed thoroughly; however, a slight haze may appear immediately after filling the aquarium with water. This haze is natural, causes no side effects, and disappears after about 12 hours. Due to the high mineral content, in order to avoid their accumulation, it is recommended to limit the dosage of micronutrient fertilizers for the first half of the year in which the tank is set up.
HOW TO USE:
Place about 7 cm of AF Lava Soil on the bottom of the tank, fill with water up to a level of about 10 cm, plant the plants and fill the aquarium with water.
