AF Fluorine

Highly concentrated fluoride supplement. Fluoride is one of the main micronutrients found in seawater. In a closed aquarium system, skimmers and filtration media remove fluoride deposits from the water, so its supplementation is necessary. Fluoride participates in the calcification process and supports skeletal tissue. Sodium fluoride and calcium fluoride are the building blocks of coral skeletons, so fluoride supplementation is necessary in a reef aquarium. A balanced fluoride supplement effectively enhances the blue and white coloration of SPS corals, as well as enhancing the fluorescence of most corals. Contains trace amounts of potassium and iodine.

Dosage: 1 drop per 100 L of water daily. 1 ml of fluoride (~15 drops) in 100 L of water increases fluoride levels by 0.06 ppm and iodine levels by 0.015 mg/L (ppm). It's important to note that every aquarium is different, and dosage depends on the coral composition and individual needs. The recommended fluoride level for marine aquariums is 1.3 mg/L (ppm).
