The Pogona originates from Australia and lives in hot, dry environments. For this reason, you must provide your new friend with a terrarium of the right size and with features suitable for a desert reptile. Given the size of Pogonas, a terrarium that is both long and tall enough to allow the animals to climb the branches provided to reach the heat source. A UVA/UVB lamp is required. If necessary, a heating mat can also be installed. To recreate the reptile's natural habitat, you can cover the terrarium floor with reptile-grade calcium sand and add branches and rocks to provide hiding places. Bearded dragons are insectivorous animals and accept crickets, cockroaches, mealworms, and caimans of all sizes.
