The Pro Paludarium™ features an extra-deep waterproof base, making it ideal for creating diverse habitats such as rainforests, swamps, or riverine environments. This versatile design supports both aquatic and terrestrial species, accommodating a wide range of plants and animals. The convenient integrated drainage system on the bottom makes it much easier to remove excess water or perform weekly water changes.

The living space of a Paludarium is made up of 3 distinct zones:

Land area

The terrestrial zone is a land area with plants, trees, shrubs, and rocks that never submerges. In tropical climates, a variety of invertebrates, reptiles, and amphibians are found here.

Riparian zone

The riparian zone, or riverbank, is the interface between land and water. It is inhabited by semi-aquatic invertebrates, reptiles, and amphibians.

Aquatic area

The aquatic area can be a stream, a pond, or even a lake, and is home to turtles, aquatic amphibians, fish, and freshwater shrimp.

The large living space of the Pro Paludarium™ offers numerous benefits for the physical and psychological well-being of reptiles and amphibians. The additional space will allow you to create different microhabitats within the terrarium, including different temperature gradients, humidity levels, and hiding places.

The front door features a spring-loaded latch for easy and direct access. The built-in lock is designed to prevent accidental opening, ensuring the safety of your pets.

Concealed ventilation maintains a clean aesthetic, giving the terrarium a touch of elegance. Beyond aesthetics, this terrarium offers an advanced three-level adjustable airflow system, providing precise environmental control. The patented forced vertical airflow is designed to effectively prevent condensation, ensuring an unobstructed view and a healthier habitat. Improved air circulation is essential for the respiratory health of reptiles and amphibians. The integrated dirt collector captures dust or sand that escapes from the ventilation holes, ensuring a clean environment. A distinctive feature is the patented locking mechanism integrated into the frame for the removable roof, which, along with the front-opening doors, makes maintenance significantly more convenient. At the top, at the back of the terrarium, there are several self-closing inlets for cables or hoses. Inside, gutters have been incorporated for efficient hose management, while dedicated nozzle attachment points facilitate the installation of an automatic misting system. The practical integrated bottom drainage system makes it much easier to remove excess water.

The Advanced Natural Terrarium's raised bottom frame provides a comfortable and secure platform for easily installing a heating mat. This feature allows you to create optimal temperature gradients within the enclosure, ensuring the comfort and well-being of your animals.

The Exo Terra® Pro Paludarium™ features a convenient bottom drainage system, making it much easier to remove excess water and perform weekly water changes. The bottom of the terrarium is waterproof once the hoses, elbow, and faucet valve are connected to the drain.
