Use

Pre-washed: Ready to use, although an additional rinse may be required to ensure cleanliness.

Riverbed placement: Spread the substrate evenly along the bottom of the empty tank or terrarium. Pour the substrate gently from a low height to avoid scratching the aquarium glass.

Standalone or mixed: Use alone for a dramatic, high-contrast base, or combine with other WIO sands and gravels for a custom substrate look.

Decorate and Plant: Arrange rocks, driftwood, and plants for a serene, nature-inspired landscape.

Filling the tank: Pour water carefully, avoiding direct flow onto the substrate.

However, if you have sensitive species such as shrimp or certain fish that prefer very soft water, regular water changes with soft water or RO water can help counteract this increase.
