The unique front-opening door allows for maximum viewing pleasure and provides easy access for maintenance and feeding. A push-button lock keeps the terrarium secure and can also be equipped with an optional lock to prevent unwanted opening.

The hinged lid can be locked and unlocked with a single button and can be opened completely. A clear glass panel on the front ensures maximum visible light penetration, and a stainless steel ventilation strip on the back ensures optimal ventilation. The patented dual ventilation system keeps the unique glass front door condensation-free, even in humid conditions. It creates a natural upward airflow to ensure optimal, healthy conditions. Excess heat is dissipated through the upper mesh, preventing heat buildup and creating temperature gradients in the terrarium. The screen mesh allows UV and infrared light to penetrate when these bulbs are needed. Four self-closing cable/hose ports on the back facilitate the installation of powered accessories such as waterfall pumps, filters, the Exo Terra Monsoon, etc. The inside front of the lid has a Monsoon nozzle mounting point on each side of the terrarium.

The bottom of the terrarium is waterproof once the hose, elbow, and faucet valve are connected to the drain. The drain allows for easy water changes and excess water removal.

The Exo Terra Tree Frog Terrarium can be set up as a bioactive habitat for tree frogs, poison dart frogs, small geckos and lizards, garter snakes and grass snakes, etc.
